So Sew Clever Craft School learning whilst having fun!
Hi, I'm Louise, I work with women and girls in my local community, teaching them sewing skills. This helps them gain confidence in themselves and their ability to progress and grow their skills to a new level. It also gives women the ability to create an income for themselves through self employment. This idea came from my love of teaching ( I qualified in 2008), and my need to craft.
I am based around the North East of England, specifically around Hartlepool, Durham and Sunderland. I love crafting within the community to help my customers build links with like-minded people from their area. I want to continue the use of more traditional crafts such as sewing, knitting and crochet as well as more modern crafts of découpage, pot painting and more.
So Sew Clever's goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where confidence is built upon by successfully crafting items. I am run children and adults sessions in all the activities that I run.
